Brandon Food Assistance
The Brandon ECHO Food Pantry was created to assist families who have suffered a recent emergency and need food help in Brandon. Those who have suffered a recent job loss, unexpected loss in income, house fire, emergency foster children, or other emergencies are encouraged to visit the ECHO food pantry for temporary help feeding their family.
ECHO’s clients receive all items free of charge and is one of the few places for emergency food Brandon offers. ECHO provides seven days worth of food per visit. In addition to a large assortment of non-perishable items, clients receive meat, cheese, eggs, butter, flour & sugar. We also provide lean proteins, dairy and fresh produce. Fresh produce is grown in one of our two volunteer-led community gardens at Bay Life Church and Winthrop Town Centre.
The Brandon Food Pantry at ECHO distributes up to one week of nutritious food for each family and we always willing to accept donations of the following non-perishable food items:
- Canned Meats
- Peanut Butter
- Spaghetti Sauce
- Canned Fruit
- Canned Pasta
- Macaroni & Cheese
Your generous donations will feed local families in need and help local food pantries Brandon keep their doors open to assist these families.
You can also participate by hosting your own food drive.
Did you know that on average ECHO distributes 20,000 pounds of food each month to 700 individuals, many of which are children?
