How & When to Register

 for backpacks and supplies

Registration Dates: July 5th – July 28th

Families with school-aged kids living in the East Hillsborough zip code areas of: 33510, 33511, 33527, 33534, 33547, 33568, 33569, 33570, 33572, 33573, 33578, 33579, 33584, 33592, 33594, 33596, 33610, 33619 may register for backpacks filled with school supplies at:

ECHO Brandon: 507 N Parsons Avenue Brandon 33510
Monday – Friday | 9am-1pm
Tuesday evening 5-7pm. **Brandon Office Only**

ECHO Riverview: 10509 Riverview Drive, Riverview 33578
Monday – Friday | 9am-1pm

What to Bring

Host a Drive

Be a dream builder by hosting a Backpack Hero Supply Drive at your place of worship, civic organization, or business. Sign up to get started.  Don’t know what we need? Click on Donate School Supplies & Food.

Can you help us complete their backpacks? We are running low on the following items for our event!

  • Notebook paper (regular & college ruled)

Let us know that you will be hosting a Back2School Drive by filling out the form below.


It would help us tremendously if you could have the food and supplies turned in by July 20. 

Donate School Supplies & Food

This year we are collecting food along with school supplies.  Together, we can prepare the children with the right tools they need to achieve their dreams.

Here’s how you can help!

You can make donations of school supplies and non-perishable food items or cash donations which will be used to purchase food or supplies for the families we serve.

  • 1 pencil pouch
  • 36 pencils
  • 1 pack of markers (8 pk)
  • 1 pack of crayons (24 pk)
  • 1 pack of colored pencils (12 pk)
  • 1 pencil sharpener
  • 2 erasers
  • 3 glue sticks
  • 1 pair of scissors
  • 4 folders (2 pocket)
  • 2 three ring binder
  • 2 spiral notebooks (wide ruled)
  • 2 composition notebooks (wide ruled)
  • 1 pack of loose leaf paper (wide ruled)

Teen Back pack size suggestion 17 – 20″ should contain:

  • 1 pencil pouch                                 
  • 24 pencils                                         
  • 1 pack of colored pencils (12 pk)                              
  • 1 pack of pens (10 pk)                                  
  • 4 highlighters                                   
  • 2 erasers                                          
  • 1 pencil sharpener
