Are you in need of clothing right now?
ECHO can help!
The ECHO Clothes Closet was created to assist families who have suffered a recent emergency and need clothing assistance in southeastern Hillsborough County. Those who have suffered a recent job loss, unexpected loss in income, house fire, emergency foster children, or other emergencies are encouraged to visit the ECHO Clothes closet for emergency clothing.
ECHO Clothes Closet provides each client with twelve outfits and three pairs of shoes. Children receive two new pairs of socks and underwear or diapers.
There just isn’t a typical ECHO client.
We find that our clients come from all walks of life. There are not stereotypes of the proud people who come to our door each and every week looking for a leg up out of a difficult situation. No matter who walks into our building, they are treated with the respect they deserve for the courage they demonstrate to lift themselves up. We’re honored to provide a helping hand and encourage anyone to call on us in times of need. We’re also a great resource for homeless assistance that residents of southeastern Hillsborough County can feel safe confiding in.
ECHO’s clients receive all items FREE of charge. ECHO provides outfits for each family member. Clothing is donated by people in the local community and only the best, nicest clothing is put into our Clothes Closet because we want you to look and feel your best when you wear the clothes you pick out.
Did you know that on average ECHO distributes 136,000 pieces of clothing and 13,600 pairs of shoes each year?
