Turn Items You No Longer Need Into Help for a Neighbor

Have clothing or household items you're ready to pass along?

Your gently used donations can directly benefit neighbors in need or help fund ECHO programs through our thrift stores.

What We Accept

We can make use of items that are new, nearly new, or gently used and are clean, safe, and in usable condition.

Our goal is to provide neighbors with items that promote dignity and help them make a fresh start.

How to Donate

Step 1: Check Your Items

Before loading your car, make sure your donations are items ECHO can accept.

Step 2: Bring Your Donations to ECHO Thrift

Step 3: Know What We Cannot Accept

To ensure your donation can be safely and responsibly used, ECHO Thrift does not accept:

  • Electronics

  • Rugs larger than 5 × 7 feet

  • VHS tapes

  • Cribs or Pack 'n Plays

  • High chairs

  • Car seats or booster seats

  • Strollers

  • Mirrors or artwork larger than 3 feet

  • Mattresses

  • Medical supplies

  • Furniture

  • Textbooks or encyclopedias

  • More than a small box of books, DVDs, or CDs

ECHO Thrift Bloomingdale's First Friday Vintage Drop brings together curated vintage clothing, accessories, home décor, collectibles, seasonal treasures, and other unique finds.

Each Vintage Drop gives shoppers the opportunity to discover never-before-seen vintage items and one-of-a-kind treasures while supporting ECHO's mission.

The event will feature a handpicked collection of:
